Post here what you are looking to do with the fence and charger. I'll be in GA later this week and I know my neighbor has one for sale but it is a large one. I saw several rolls of high-tensile electric wire there as well. I'll check for you.
I'm putting a fence around my 1/2 acre garden to keep the deer and critters out. I'm going put my sows in there for a few weeks to turn the soil once I close it in. I picked up an engergizer at Tractor Supply - if you friend has a better deal I'd love to return this charger.
Ok, Wayne, then the fencing I was talking about would not work. The wire is single strand and the energizer would probably cover a 100 acres. Way to much for your garden.
BTW, I'll be in GA between Friday, Dec 23rd and Jan 3. If you would like to drive up I could show you the LB boar and my Pineywood bulls and we could discuss further. I'd like to meet the Pineywood people local to GA!
Just checking in to see how the pen for the Large Black boar is coming along. Scott is getting ants-in-his-pants about leaving him in that smaller paddock any longer.
Hey, you commented on my "wall" that you guys keep a presa canario with your chickens. I found this almost unbelievable. But we do keep an American Bulldog with ours. The first time that we went to get an American Bulldog from a breeder in North Georgia we went to a breeder that kept a lot of presa canarios and I was actually afraid of them, first time I've ever had any fear of any dog. But he specifically trained his dogs to be mean. So I've never met a nice one. Is your presa nice to humans as well as chickens?
YES! She loves people. Presas are actually farm dogs in Spain and the Canary Islands. Check out her pics. She gets along ok with our goats; has a love hate relationship with our Piney Woods and will only mess with the pigs if she thinks they aren't following commands :)Family%20Farm%20%26%20%20Torie%20403.jpg
Heya, we're in Brooks in south Fayette County. We'll have ADGA nubian kids in April. Bucks will probably be in the $50 -$75 range, does around $100-$125.

Good Morning - I'm looking for electric fencing and two chargers. Any recommendations or is anyone selling any used chargers?

Thanks for thinking about of us. I appreciate the offer, I'm off and would love to make the drive. What day works best for you and your family?
Hello, Swanson Farm. It sounds like you are into heritage breeds? We are a heritage farm, too. In NE Georgia. Where are you?
Hey Cathy - we're in Hampton GA...a few minutes south of Atlanta

Hey Wayne,
Just checking in to see how the pen for the Large Black boar is coming along. Scott is getting ants-in-his-pants about leaving him in that smaller paddock any longer.
Thanks for the friend invite. If you're in Hampton, we're practically neighbors.
