I had always envisioned a certain "look" for our place because I had seen what I wanted as we drove country roads.  I wanted a nice pasture with a tree line across the back.  That probably sounds odd because most pastures do have tree lines somewhere, but my husband knew what I meant because every time I saw it when we were out riding on the Harley or out with the family, I would point it out and say how pretty it was.

Well, this weekend, when we went to look at the latest place in our continuing saga of searching for land, I saw it.  This time, I think we all fell in love with the place.  It's kind of funny, none of us ever thought we would find a place that would trump our property we had found in January of this year.  The property that we've been saving and saving for.  However, when we saw this place, we all agreed, the previous property we thought was "it" had just been trumped.

Now, we are trying to figure out how to make it happen.  Just like the other place we are saving for the 20% down payment.  But more than likely it will take until December to get there and we hope the place will still be available.

The house on this property was actually in "move in" condition.  The house on the other property is not.  This place is more expensive, but we know that even though we could get the one property for less, the expenses in getting it to "move in" condition would be quite large.  Also, the land itself was not as useable as this latest one we've seen.

And so we wait and ponder and wait and ponder and hope and dream and hope and dream.  Like many of you are doing or have done before you found your perfect place.
