Like many of you my wife and I are Farm Dreamers. We have decided to learn as much as we can on local farm tours. This will be the first of many. Please enjoy.

Our Trip to King's Hill Farm 

In the small town of Mineral Point, Wisconsin you will find King's Hill Farm.  It is managed by Joel and Jai Kellum.

We recently made a visit to the farm during their Memorial Weekend Event. The weekend started on Saturday. When we arrived we selected our campsite .  After we settled in we met up with the other campers and were given a VIP tour of the farm. The tour consisted of a walk and hayride. They showed us the Animals, Mushrooms, Fruits and Vegetables that are raised Organic and Sustainable.

At the conclusion of the tour a great farm dinner was provided using many products of the farm. 

In the morning people enjoyed various activities from yoga to a bird watching hike. A hearty breakfast of french toast, bacon and eggs was a provided.

Care packages of strawberries, asparagus, rhubarb, and peas were given to the campers.

A great thank you to all the friendly staff and intern that made our trip really exciting and a memorable event.
