" It is always nice to be able to see the coop from the kitchen because of predators, and let's not forget snakes who eat the eggs. I suggest you get moth balls for your coop it keeps the snakes out, just make sure you have good ventilation…"

Yes, Yes, and Yes!  We have a lot of plans, and are learning the whole thing about getting infrastructure set.  In a way I'm glad we didn't get out here until late fall; it's kept us from just jumping in and doing something we'd probably regret later!  So, I'm learning the virtue of waiting   Have you been perusing the seed catalogs, deciding what you will be planting in the spring?  Do you already have animals?
