Be Fatisfied said… A whole bale fits... we also used some extra loose hay to fill in the gaps. I've planted mostly edible flowering starter plants and herbs that can handle some shade, a variegated lettuce and a tomato plant in the sunniest spot. There is a drain plug on the bottom of the through but draining has not been necessary.
