They are so cute!! What kind of rabbits? We have some new chicks and new hens, plenty of eggs now which is a good thing     Ellen

Hi Ellen,

These are Beveren rabbits which are a heritage breed that originated from Belgium. This is a very popular breed during WWI, and the legend is that the "V" for Victory sign may have actually been inspired by the upright carriage pf the Beveren's ears. Our experience with Beverens is they make excellent mothers and yes, those kits are adorable!  Congratulations on your thriving flock!!

Thanks, I gave our only rabbit to the Pet Shop this morning no one here to take care of it. So now more time for the garden and the chickens and the chicks. We are just waiting for the tomato's to ripen and the corn also so we will be in the canning mode soon           Ellen
