Nicely done! Is the wooden framework made from store-bought fence posts and rails?

I think they started as a bunch of 8 foot tall ceder fence posts left over from a fencing project.  They are dug down 3 feet I think so they won't pitch in the frost. The stones are just cheap cement patio stones. They went together rather easily considering my husband didn't have any help putting them together.

I thought the patio stone idea was a nice touch. Are they just held in place by the soil, or did you anchor them in some way?

We wrapped landscape tarp around the top to inside of the stone to hold them in while filling up the gardens. Other than that it's just the pressure of the soil. That way if a stone cracks we can just slide it out and put in a new one.

Thanks, being able to replace one was my thought as well, but I wanted to see how you had done it.

Very nice! I love the patio stones. Easy to replace if needed and they'll last a long time. And, it kinda gives them a tidy, pulled together look. If that makes sense. Lol! Great idea!
