Just the use of screw in poultry water nipples....this is the one I used when they were chicks and they became quite attached to it and would by pass the 5 gal bucket with the same style delivery and go straight back to their little bucket.  Silly birds! 

I really love this way of watering as there is no waste, no dirty water and they seem to love pecking at the nipples.
