Comment by Kimberly Bollinger McCargo on May 12, 2012 at 12:05pm I just bought the tree when I was in Florida visiting my family in March. I am not sure how old it was but it was in a 3 gal container. I was looking for a Meyer's "Improved" Lemon Tree (my friend wanted that variety which is another cross with I think a mandarin orange) but could not find one and my Mom found these at a small nursery. There was already lemon's on this tree. I brought back 2 for my friends. I gave the ones without lemon's to my friends because I was afraid that transplanting it with so much fruit would cause it to die but mine has done well so far. This is my first attempt at citrus even though I grew up in Florida. Yours look great...How long have you had them?

Comment by Kimberly Bollinger McCargo on June 4, 2012 at 9:22pm Bob...I hope that my lemon tree lasts that long. I hope to be able to take care of it through the winter. I haven't kept any plant except a house plant through the wintertime.
