Hi Kimberly, that is really a good picture, really like the lemons on it they look like limes at first glance. Our two tree have flowers no fruit yet, have moved them down to get more sun and made a permanent place on top of some bricks. How old is your tree?
I just bought the tree when I was in Florida visiting my family in March. I am not sure how old it was but it was in a 3 gal container. I was looking for a Meyer's "Improved" Lemon Tree (my friend wanted that variety which is another cross with I think a mandarin orange) but could not find one and my Mom found these at a small nursery. There was already lemon's on this tree. I brought back 2 for my friends. I gave the ones without lemon's to my friends because I was afraid that transplanting it with so much fruit would cause it to die but mine has done well so far. This is my first attempt at citrus even though I grew up in Florida. Yours look great...How long have you had them?
Hi Kimberly we have had both of the tree's for a year one was covered in flowers the other smaller one nothing on it yet, these are better pictures and moved off of the porch into the full sun
They look great...Hope the ones with flowers turn into lots of fruit
Hi Kimberly the one bigger one already has small lemons on it the smaller one not yet, waiting on the fig tree now. Ellen from Georgia
Hi Bob that is a good story and some times people just can't care for a plant they way the original person does maybe no love for the plant. We keep ours inside during the winter and out in the spring. Mine is the smaller one the big one already has lemons on it Ellen
I agree.....some treat the lemon tree oh so nice, yours looks terrific.
Hi Bob mine is two years old and still no lemons I got it really small 4 inches but my son in law bought his at the flea market. His already had blossoms on it mine didn't, we also have a fig tree in the back yard Ellen
Bob...I hope that my lemon tree lasts that long. I hope to be able to take care of it through the winter. I haven't kept any plant except a house plant through the wintertime.
