Well with the temperature around 107 all this week I guess you can ay Summer 2012 is here. We picked out first batch of ripe peaches and I started the canning yesterday. I bought strawberries on sale and made strawberry jam as well. Everything turned out great.

I have continued to hatch turkey's but the last set did not go so well...only ONE of five survived. All died hatching or right after hatching. I'm not sure what the problem is since the ONE hatched perfectly and is a very very healthy and friendly guy/gal....Next set is due on5/24 and I hope it goes better.

All I can say is Holy Moly! I see all my south of the Rockies friends are already getting ready to harvest early spring veggies~

I just have to learn to be patient! Looks lovely~
