Comment by Acre and a Half on May 18, 2012 at 12:59pm Well with the temperature around 107 all this week I guess you can ay Summer 2012 is here. We picked out first batch of ripe peaches and I started the canning yesterday. I bought strawberries on sale and made strawberry jam as well. Everything turned out great.
I have continued to hatch turkey's but the last set did not go so well...only ONE of five survived. All died hatching or right after hatching. I'm not sure what the problem is since the ONE hatched perfectly and is a very very healthy and friendly guy/gal....Next set is due on5/24 and I hope it goes better.
