Was excited to hear the voices from NHF I really liked their podcast and was sad to hear they were stopping so great job roping Tim and Liz into this!
Format seems like a winner with grabbing info from the forum and blogs and kind of verbally dissecting it while adding in the NHF charm, looking forward to more!
This is a great step in my eyes for Farm-Dreams!
Next step is to get it onto iTunes!
Permalink Reply by Scott Ray on January 25, 2012 at 12:44am Yeah, had trouble with trying to subscribe to the podcast feed thru iTunes. The app redirected to itunes, only to tell me that it was available to the US users only... funny, I know this country ain't the same as it used to be, but as far as I know, its still the USA! (and yes, I'm using the US storefront in iTunes).
Thanks for taking the time to do the podcast. Caught the first couple today and some of the nature's harmony ones too while i went for a few hour hike, great stuff!

Don't know if this has been writen about yet but i heard it asked on the podcast....
an alcohol stove is pretty much a small backpacking stove that runs on alcohol and is mainly used for boiling water for cooking or adding to dehydrated foods. You can make one pretty easy out of a couple soda cans, you can just you tube soda can alcohol stove, takes about 5 minutes to make. It's a really lightweight simple design. They primarily burn alcohol but can also burn heet and...i forget the other one, something to do with paint thinner i think. In my trangia stove i can boil a cup of water with about an ounce of alcohol. Works good for me being out in the desert as the burn is controlled and doesn't give off spark. Would hate to burn the land down!
here is an amazon link for the stove
