Does anyone know the cheeses of this region and any makers in particular worth visiting? I'm heading south of Bergerac soon for a couple of weeks cheese making at a goats milk dairy (yippee). It wasn't easy to organise though and I don't actually know a lot about the cheeses of the region - does anyone here? I'll have a car for a few days after so want to tour around and possibly visit other makers to learn all I can or at least eat lots of great cheese
Any tips and suggestions on who, what and where would be really wonderful. Thanks so much.
